The Good Book Sensation!

This isn't a book review, although I might do one on this book another time, this is just a random post really. I try to get myself to write book reviews, but I've been forcing myself to write them so much that it's not even fun anymore, so I've taken a step back and remembering why I did it in the first place. I feel really inspired to write a post, but as  write this sentence it is 12:04 am, so I wanted to just do a quick update sort of post.

I just finished a book and it was a good book. It was one of those 'I didn't have very I high expectations for you but you were actually good. I'm so sorry I judged you before I knew you.' sort of books.  When I finish reading a good book I'm usual stuck with a smile one my face for a minimum of a hour. I also feel all happy and hyper and like I can do anything. I call this 'The Good Book Sensation'. That's when you have read a really good book and the things i just described applies to you. This used to be called 'The Good Book Feeling', but I felt like 'Sensation' is a better word than 'Feeling'.

That's all I really have for this post. I'm so sorry it's short and unorganised. I promise that once I get more sleep and time I'll update and post on the blog just like the good old days, but sometimes I'll also be posting things related to books, not just books reviews. This is my blog and I really enjoy doing post like that so I'm going to do it. Once again sorry for my lack of posts but once I get back on track it won't happen again. Also I just got back from overseas about a week ago, it was such a fun and interesting trip. :)

My most anticipated books of 2015!

Happy New Year! This is my first post from this year and I'm really excited about what this year is going to bring. This year I'm going to post so much more often and hopefully improve the quality of the content I post. :)

Since this is my first post for 2015 I thought it would be fitting to write a list of books that I'm excited for this year. There are so many great sounding books coming out this year but I've narrowed down to a couple of that I am most anticipating.

The first on my list is The Sword of Summer.

This is the first book in Rick Riordan's Norse mythology series. I'm honestly can't contain excitement about this book. Come on this book! This going to be written in Magnus Chase's perspective and he is the cousin of Annabeth Chase. Anyone who is related to Annabeth chase must be bloody amazing! I'm also really familiar with Norse mythology. I like to read about it in my spare time so I'm so excited for this series.

Excitement level: I've already exploded and this is my ghost blogging write now :)

The second on my list is, I was here by Gayle Foreman.

I love the way Gayle Foreman writes. I really like the way she adds so much depth and interlaces the story with so much emotional maturity and writes with so much detail that makes me want too cry after reading her books. After reading If I Stay (which I have already reviewed) I've gotten so hooked into all of her books and I'm really anticipating I was here.

Excitement level: Counting down the days until it comes out!

The third on my list is Carry On by Rainbow Rowell.

Rainbow Rowell's Carry On, is “fiction inspired by fictional fanfiction of a fictional series.” was how she described her book. I am such a big fan of Eleanor and Park written by Rainbow Rowell and I personally can't wait for this book. Eleanor and Park shredded me to tears and I loved the story and it's characters so much. Let me be the first to admit that I haven't read any other of her books. *Readers all wonder why she loved Eleanor and Park so much but haven't read any other of Rainbow Rowell's books.* Well it's something I like to call the Book Sucking Phobia. When I find a book I love so much I struggle to bring myself to read the other books by that author. In fear of the book 'sucking'. I would have built up so much love and astonishment to the writer and not want to have that ruined. This can also happen in a series. When I love the books so much but don't want to read the next one in few of it being horrible and not meeting my incredibly high expectations. I know that this fear is irrational, but I'm getting over that fear. I got over that fear with John Green and found that his other books are just as good as The Fault in Our Stars. Once I get back from holidays, (for those who don't know I'm currently overseas), I'm going to read Rainbow Rowell's Landline and Fangirl. Finally... :)

When I first found out that another Rainbow Rowell book was coming out I was ecstatic, but after I found out it was connected with Fangirl I had a small panic because I hadn't read it yet. Although that was soon resolved because on her Tumblr Rainbow cleared up some of the confusion. You don’t have to have read Fangirl to understand what goes on in Carry On. Even though I haven't read 'Fangirl' I'm greatly anticipating Carry On.

Excitement level: Super excited but most likely not going to pre-order it.

There aren't any covers or anything on the Internet so I quickly made this :)

Okay, I thought I was excited for more books but when I typed it out there was only there. Haha, although there was only three on my list I'm sure that there will be a lot more great releases this year. This year I'm hoping to read a lot more books by debut authors. Usually I just stick by authors I've already read or authors that my friends recommend me, but this year I want to find the office I've never heard of and give the books are try and with that last sentence I wish you an amazing year full of good books and well written character development. :)
